Overnight closures are planned for Interstate 530 to facilitate bridge maintenance. The work is set to occur nightly from 8 p.m. until 3 p.m. the following day, starting Monday, July 14, and continuing through Friday, July 25.

During this period, one lane of I-530 south will be closed at a time within the I-440/I-30/I-530 interchange. Additionally, the northbound Exit 1B from I-530 to I-30 west will be closed. Traffic heading north will need to detour via I-30 east, take Exit 139A (Roosevelt Road), and loop back to I-30 west.

For those traveling on I-440 west wanting to head south on I-530, Exit 138B will be closed as well. These drivers should detour onto I-30 west, take Exit 135 (W 65th Street), loop back to I-30 east, and proceed on I-30 east to exit 138B for access to I-530 south.

Digital message boards along with barricades, cones, and signage will alert motorists about these closures. Travelers are advised to check IDriveArkansas.com for up-to-date traffic conditions.
