The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced that the on-ramp from Sevier Street/South Street to Interstate 30 eastbound in Benton is scheduled to close overnight from 8 p.m. Sunday, March 15 to 6 a.m. Monday, March 16.

The closure will also affect the right and middle eastbound lanes of I-30 at this location during the same time period. According to the department, these closures are necessary to allow crews to install new overhead signage, weather permitting.

Motorists needing access to I-30 eastbound during the closure can use the on-ramp from West Carpenter Street (Exit 117). Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify drivers of the closure and detour route.

Additional travel information is available at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. More details can be found at the Arkansas Department of Transportation website.
