A Hot Springs resident, Porscha Rollek, claimed a $50,000 prize after playing the $50,000 Stacked instant game. Rollek purchased her winning ticket at Smokes #35 on Malvern Avenue in Hot Springs and collected her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on January 20.
Rollek had previously won $100 and decided to use those winnings to buy another ticket. She chose the $50,000 Stacked game because she had experienced good luck with similar games before. After scratching her ticket at home, she discovered she had won one of the game’s top prizes.
“I started crying,” Rollek told lottery officials. “I was so happy!”
She first shared the news with her mother and later with her children. Rollek plans to take a trip with her family using part of her winnings.
There are still seventy-six top prizes of $50,000 remaining in the $50,000 Stacked instant game.
Meanwhile, jackpots for two Arkansas-only draw games continue to increase. The LOTTO jackpot is now at $703,000 for Saturday’s drawing and the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) stands at $540,000 for tonight’s drawing.
Both LOTTO and NSJ tickets are included in a limited-time promotion called the 5-Buck Bundle. Players who request this bundle receive a $3 Powerball ticket with Power Play, a $2 LOTTO ticket, and a free NSJ ticket. This promotion runs through February 28 and all tickets must be Quick Picks. Purchasers must be at least 18 years old.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has sold over $8 billion in tickets since its start in 2009 and has returned more than $1.5 billion for scholarships benefiting students across Arkansas. As of December 31, 2025, more than 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using these funds. The lottery has also paid out over $5.6 billion in prizes to players and generated significant revenue through retailer commissions and taxes.
