The Highway 37 bridge near Amagon has been closed for emergency repairs after a routine inspection revealed issues with its substructure. The closure, which is approximately 0.8 miles south of Highway 14, will remain in effect until further notice to allow repair crews to work on the bridge.

Local traffic will still have access on either side of the closure, but a detour has been set up for through traffic. Northbound drivers on Highway 37 are advised to take Highway 145 north of Beedeville, then proceed to Highway 14 before returning to Highway 37 in Amagon. Southbound drivers should follow the reverse route.

Motorists will be informed of the closures through digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage.
