Highway 33 near DeValls Bluff is set to close for a bridge replacement project. The closure, scheduled from 7 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, through Saturday, August 23, will affect the bridge across Honey Creek between Highway 70 and Highway 86 south of DeValls Bluff. During this period, crews will replace the existing bridge with a box culvert.

The highway will remain accessible to local traffic on either side of the closure. A signed detour route will guide northbound traffic via Highway 86 west to Highway 63, then north to Highway 70, and east to Highway 33. Southbound drivers will be directed along Highway 70 west to Highway 63, then south to Highway 86, and east back to Highway 33.

To alert motorists about the closures, digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be deployed. For further travel information, drivers can visit IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov.
