A section of Highway 203, from Highway 274 to Highway 205 near East Camden in Calhoun County, will be closed from 6:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday, April 20, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

The closure is scheduled to allow crews to facilitate a pipe replacement, weather permitting. During this time, Highway 203 will remain open only to local traffic.

A signed detour will be in place for motorists. Northbound traffic will be directed to take Highway 274 east to Highway 205 north back to Highway 203. Southbound traffic will take Highway 205 south to Highway 274 west back to Highway 203.

Construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be used to notify motorists of the closure and direct them along the detour route.

Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. More details are available in the Arkansas Department of Transportation’s press release.
