A section of Highway 189 Bypass, located just east of Warren, is set to close for a continuous period starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, November 7, and will remain closed until 7 a.m. on Sunday, November 9. This closure is planned to facilitate the replacement of a railroad crossing by Arkansas Midland Railroad crews.

The affected portion of the bypass will be accessible only to local traffic on either side of the closure during this time. Motorists will be informed about the closure through signage, and a detour route has been established. To access the west side of the closure, drivers should take Highway 189 south to Highway 278 west, then proceed to Highway 63 north back to Highway 189. For reaching the east side, motorists should follow Highway 189 west to Highway 63 south and then continue on Highway 278 east back to Highway 189.
