Highway 148 near Burdette scheduled for closure due to repair work

Highway 148 near Burdette is set to close for repairs starting Monday, July 28, at 8 a.m. The closure will last until 5 p.m. on Monday, August 25. Crews will be working on repairs near Ditch Number 6, located just west of Interstate 55, weather permitting.

During this period, Highway 148 between Highway 181 and Interstate 55 will remain open only to local traffic. Eastbound drivers are advised to detour via Highway 181 south to Highway 158, then east to Interstate 55. Westbound drivers should take Interstate 55 south to Highway 158 and then proceed west to Highway 181.
