The Highway 148 bridge near Blytheville is set to close for replacement work. The closure will occur between North County Road 447 and North County Road 471, starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 23, and continuing until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2. This schedule is dependent on weather conditions.

During this period, the highway will remain accessible to local traffic on either side of the closure. A detour has been arranged for westbound traffic via Highway 148 east to Interstate 55 south, then Highway 158 west to Highway 181 north. Eastbound traffic will be rerouted from Highway 148 west to Highway 181 south, then Highway 158 east to Interstate 55 north.
