Arkansas women’s basketball announced on Apr. 15 the signing of Grace McCallop, marking the team’s first transfer addition for the upcoming season.
McCallop’s arrival is notable as she brings three years of eligibility to the Razorbacks after playing at California during the 2025-26 season. The move aims to strengthen Arkansas’s roster with a player who has experience in both collegiate and high school championships.
During her time at Cal, McCallop averaged 0.9 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game over an average of 4.7 minutes played each contest. Her standout performance came against San Jose State where she played a season-high of 18 minutes, scoring seven points along with three rebounds and four steals.
Before her college career, McCallop had a successful high school run in Kansas City, Kansas. She contributed to three consecutive Kansas Class 4A state titles at Bishop Miege High School before finishing her prep career at Piper High School, where she averaged impressive statistics: 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.1 steals, and 2.3 assists in one season.
The addition of McCallop provides Arkansas with added depth and potential as they prepare for future competitions.
