Sheriffs and county judges from across the state stood in support as Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Attorney General Tim Griffin presented information about her criminal justice package. The proposal includes SB495 to reform the Arkansas criminal justice system and an investment of about $500 million to increase prison capacity by 3,000 beds. Sanders and Griffin explained that this proposal is targeted toward violent repeat offenders and will help alleviate overcrowding in county jails. #arcounties
