Congratulations to Iman Becirbasic, Riley Gloystein, and Norah DeRooy, who participated in the PMEA District 2, 3 &5 Orchestra Festival January 26–28. Our students auditioned and earned the following chair placements in the 2nd Violin section:

  • Iman – 1st chair
  • Riley – 2nd chair
  • Norah – 6th chair

All three students qualified for and will advance to Western Region Orchestra in March!

UA Northark and UAM announce partnership for affordable bachelor’s degrees in Harrison

North Arkansas College and University of Arkansas at Monticello have announced a new partnership allowing local students affordable access to bachelor’s degrees without leaving Harrison. The collaboration includes business administration programs starting August 2026 along with scholarships aimed at keeping higher education accessible.
