Central Arkansas moves to third after second round of ASUN Women’s Golf Championship

The Central Arkansas Bears Women’s Golf team advanced to third place on April 18 after the second round of the ASUN Championship at Dothan Country Club in Alabama. The Bears improved their standing by four spots from the first round, finishing with a score of -7 for the day.

In Round 1, Central Arkansas shot +12, making 10 birdies and 53 pars. Standings after Round 2 placed North Florida first at -28, followed by FGCU (even), Central Arkansas (+5), Stetson (+6), Lipscomb (+14), Austin Peay (+14), Bellarmine (+20), West Georgia (+25), North Alabama (+25), Eastern Kentucky (+37), Jacksonville (+51) and Queens (+55). The final round is scheduled for Sunday, April 19.
