The Arkansas women’s golf team, ranked sixth nationally, will begin its postseason on April 17 at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship held at Pelican Golf Club. The team is set to play alongside No. 8 Auburn and No. 14 Vanderbilt in the opening round.

This year’s championship features strong competition, with ten out of sixteen SEC programs ranked within the top twenty-five nationally. Last season, Arkansas finished sixth in stroke play before advancing past Texas in the match play quarterfinals and then falling to Florida in the semifinals.

Arkansas has previously claimed one SEC title, which came in 2018 at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. Individual honors have also been achieved by Razorbacks athletes Stacy Lewis, who won titles in both 2005 and 2008, and Maria Fassi, who secured an individual championship in 2019.

The lineup for Arkansas includes Swetha Sathish teeing off at 7:10 a.m., Sara Brentcheneff at 7:20 a.m., Reagan Zibilski at 7:30 a.m., Abbey Schutte at 7:40 a.m., and Maria Jose Marin also beginning her round at that time.

All sixteen teams will participate in three rounds of stroke play before the field is reduced to eight teams after Sunday’s third round. The tournament then moves into match play with quarterfinals scheduled for Monday morning and semifinals on Monday afternoon broadcasted on SEC Network Plus. The final championship match will take place Tuesday morning and will be televised live on SEC Network.
