An Arkansas woman has claimed a $75,000 prize after purchasing a winning Jumbo Bucks Bingo instant ticket. Sara Coon of Houston, Arkansas, collected her winnings at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on February 2.

Coon said she bought the ticket last Friday at Highway 10 One Stop in Little Rock while helping a friend with their car. “We wouldn’t have been there otherwise,” she told lottery officials.

She scratched the ticket in the car as her boyfriend drove them to an appointment. Initially believing she had won $20, Coon soon realized the prize was much larger. “Babe, I need you to pull over,” she said. After checking the ticket multiple times, they returned to the retailer to scan it and confirmed it was a top-prize winner.

Coon and her boyfriend plan to use the winnings for starting a business, buying a home, and building a future for their daughter. Her boyfriend said: “You’re the big winner, babe. I’m just holding the big winner’s hand.”

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery continues its 5-Buck Bundle promotion through February 28. For $5 at participating retailers, players receive tickets for Powerball with Power Play, LOTTO, and a free Natural State Jackpot Quick Pick.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has generated more than $8 billion in sales since 2009 and contributed over $1.5 billion toward scholarships for students across the state. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education since its inception. As of December 31, 2025, more than $5.6 billion in prizes have been distributed to players.

“Players must be 18 years of age or older,” according to lottery guidelines. The Office of the Arkansas Lottery notes that all winning tickets are subject to verification through its central gaming system before prizes are paid.
