Arkansas State Highway Commission announces proposed amendment to utility accommodation policy

The Arkansas State Highway Commission announced on April 5 that it intends to amend the Utility Accommodation Policy, opening a public comment period of at least 30 days.

According to the announcement, the comment period began on April 5 and will end on May 14. The commission encourages all interested parties to provide comments related to the proposed changes. Copies of the proposed rules are available online or by contacting Gill Rogers at the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

Written comments may be submitted via email or regular mail to Gill Rogers at ARDOT. Comments received after May 14 may not be considered, according to the commission.

A public hearing regarding the proposed rule amendments is scheduled for 11 a.m. on May 13 at the Arkansas Department of Transportation Central Office Auditorium in Little Rock.
