The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery will hold a retailer event at White Oak, located at 900 W. Keiser Ave. in Osceola, on April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event marks White Oak’s Customer Appreciation Day and serves as a soft launch before the location’s full grand opening.

The lottery invites the public to attend the celebration, which recognizes both retailers and players who contribute to scholarship funding for Arkansas students. “We’re always excited to support our retailers and players across the state,” said Sharon Strong, executive director of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. “This event in Osceola allows us to recognize one of the many retailers who help us achieve our mission of raising proceeds for student scholarships, while also celebrating our players.”

In conjunction with Wednesday night’s $1.255 million LOTTO jackpot drawing, attendees who purchase a $2 LOTTO ticket during the event can spin the lottery’s prize wheel for branded merchandise. The LOTTO drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 8:59 p.m.

According to information from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, once someone wins the LOTTO jackpot it resets to $250,000 and increases with each subsequent drawing.

Since its inception in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has sold over $8 billion in tickets and returned more than $1.6 billion for scholarships distributed by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. As of March 31 this year, more than $5.7 billion has been awarded in prizes to players, over $479 million paid out in retailer commissions, and more than $458 million contributed as state and federal tax revenue.
