Three Arkansas residents have recently claimed significant prizes from instant lottery tickets, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Paul Y., a resident of Baxter County, won $300,000 playing the Xtreme Money instant game after purchasing his ticket at E-Z Mart #4243 in Mountain Home. He said he had not planned to buy a ticket but decided to do so on a feeling.
“I really wasn’t going to buy a ticket at first,” Paul told lottery officials. “But I just had a feeling that day.”
“This really was a miracle, I tell you what,” the lucky winner said.
Paul stated he plans to save his winnings. There are still two top prizes of $300,000 remaining for Xtreme Money.
Another player, Vickie N. from Washington County, claimed a $200,000 prize after buying a Diamond Dollars ticket at White Oak Station in Fayetteville while shopping for her grandson’s school shoes.
“Would you buy me a couple of $10 scratchers?” Vickie asked her husband.
She scratched off her tickets at home and realized she had won the top prize.
“I jumped off the sofa screaming so loud, I woke up my husband!” Vickie told lottery officials. “I’m still excited.”
K. Lim from Bryant won $75,000 with a Loteria instant game purchased at Happy Mart in North Little Rock during a routine gas stop.
“I just buy based on feeling,” Lim told lottery officials.
Lim has not yet decided how to use her winnings but plans to continue playing. One top prize of $75,000 remains available for Loteria players.
