Last month, lawmakers approved another series of tax cuts. In under two years, Governor Huckabee Sanders and the General Assembly have enacted four rounds of tax reductions, aiming to lessen the financial burden on Arkansans.

The latest changes include a reduction in the top individual income rate from 4.4 percent to 3.9 percent and a decrease in the top corporate income rate from 4.8 percent to 4.3 percent.

Following the approval of the tax cuts package by lawmakers, NFIB State Director Katie Burns expressed support for the measures, stating they bring Arkansas “one step closer” to eliminating state income tax entirely.
