The Arkansas Razorbacks defeated the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions 12-2 in a seven-inning game on April 14 at CHI St. Vincent Field at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock.

The victory is significant as it improved the Razorbacks’ record to 25-13 for the season and strengthened their performance in midweek games, where they now hold an 8-2 record. The team has also continued its strong showing against in-state opponents, holding a record of 32-6 since 1947 and remaining undefeated against UAPB with an 8-0 mark.

Kuhio Aloy led Arkansas offensively, collecting three hits and four runs batted in, marking his season high. He was supported by Camden Kozeal and Nolan Souza, who each had multiple hits and two RBIs. The Razorbacks scored consistently throughout the game, tallying runs in five out of seven innings with notable three-run efforts in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

On the pitching side, Colin Fisher earned his fourth win after throwing three shutout innings during his first midweek start this year. Mark Brissey contributed a career-long outing from the bullpen with two-and-a-third innings pitched and matched his personal best with three strikeouts while allowing just one hit.

The team’s next series will be played at Baum-Walker Stadium against Georgia starting Thursday evening. The opener is scheduled for a televised broadcast on ESPNU.
