Arkansas Razorbacks add midweek softball game at Tulsa on April 22

The Arkansas Razorbacks softball team will play an additional non-conference game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on April 22, head coach Courtney Deifel announced on Apr. 17. The matchup is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Collins Family Softball Complex and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

This meeting marks the 35th time the two programs have faced each other, with Tulsa leading the all-time series 20-14. The last encounter took place during the 2019 NCAA Regionals in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where Tulsa won by a score of 5-0.

Currently ranked No. 6/8 nationally, Arkansas holds a season record of 35-6 and is 10-5 in Southeastern Conference play. The team recently secured a series win against Mississippi State after losing the opening game but winning the next two by scores of 8-0 and 10-3. So far this season, Arkansas has outscored its opponents by a margin of 353 to 101.

Tulsa enters this contest with a record of 16-24 overall and stands at 7-11 in American Conference games.

With this addition to their schedule, Arkansas is set to play a total of 51 regular-season games in the current campaign. Before facing Tulsa, the Razorbacks will travel to Norman for a three-game SEC series against top-ranked Oklahoma from April 17 through April 19. Friday’s opener will air nationally on ESPN2 while Saturday and Sunday’s games are available via SEC Network+.
