An Arkansas resident has won a $250.8 million Powerball jackpot with a ticket ordered through the Jackpocket mobile app, marking the largest prize ever awarded via the platform. The winning numbers drawn on Monday night were 2, 17, 18, 38, and 62, with a Powerball number of 20.
The winning ticket was ordered using Jackpocket in Arkansas, and the associated retail location is Winners Corner at 6801 W. 12th St. in Little Rock. This win comes less than three months after another major Powerball jackpot was claimed in the state.
Pete Sullivan, SVP of Lottery at DraftKings, commented on the milestone: “We’re thrilled for our customer in Arkansas and amazed that just their second order placed with Jackpocket resulted in a life-changing $250.8 million jackpot — setting a new Jackpocket record,” he said. “This historic win underscores our commitment to delivering a best-in-class, secure, and seamless lottery experience for our customers.”
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) partners with Jackpocket to provide more options for players to participate in draw games either through the app or at licensed retailers across the state.
ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong also acknowledged the significance of this event: “We are excited to make Arkansas lottery history with another Powerball jackpot win in just over two months,” she said. “As with our other lottery prizes, the benefits of this win are multi-layered. From raising funds for in-state student scholarships to supporting our retailers and contributing to the state’s economy, we look forward to seeing this positive impact spread across Arkansas communities.”
According to ASL policies, proceeds from Powerball and other lottery ticket sales help fund college scholarships for students in Arkansas. State taxes will claim 3.9% of the total winnings from this jackpot. The retailer responsible for selling the winning ticket will receive a $50,000 commission.
Since its inception in 2009, ASL has sold over $8 billion worth of tickets and contributed more than $1.5 billion toward scholarships benefiting local students. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been distributed by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using these funds. As of January 31, 2026, ASL reports awarding more than $5.7 billion in prizes to players and providing over $473 million in commissions to retailers as well as generating more than $424 million in state and federal tax revenue.
Jackpocket is recognized as the first licensed third-party lottery courier app in the United States and currently operates in multiple states including Arkansas.
