The Arkansas Razorbacks placed 28 student-athletes from four programs on the 2025-26 Winter Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll, according to an April 15 announcement from the university.

The recognition highlights academic achievement among athletes in basketball, equestrian, gymnastics, and swimming and diving. The honor roll aims to celebrate students who excel both in their sports and in the classroom.

To qualify for the Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, undergraduate student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or as a cumulative average at their institution. Graduate students must also meet a minimum GPA of 3.0 for graduate coursework. Other requirements include completion of specific credit hours toward a degree and being part of a varsity team for an entire NCAA Championship segment.

Athletes recognized this year represent various majors including exercise science, psychology, communication, nursing, criminology, marketing, and more. Notable honorees include Nick Pringle from men’s basketball; Maryn Archer and Danika Galea from women’s basketball; Grace Drexler and Frankie Price from gymnastics; as well as Gracie Colvin and Sydney Craft from women’s swimming and diving.

Student-athletes eligible for nomination can be scholarship recipients or non-scholarship participants who have been on varsity teams for two seasons. Summer school grades are also considered when determining eligibility.

A total of 769 student-athletes across the Southeastern Conference were named to this year’s winter honor roll.
