The LOTTO jackpot in Arkansas has reached $1.08 million for the upcoming Saturday drawing, making it the third time since 2022 that the prize has surpassed $1 million. The game is exclusive to Arkansas and offers residents a chance to win large prizes through twice-weekly drawings held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m.
Earlier this year, a resident from Yell County claimed a record-high jackpot of $5.123 million. Other significant winners include individuals from Sebastian County and Pulaski County, who won $2.338 million and $999,000 respectively.
LOTTO requires players to match six numbers between 1 and 40, drawn in any order, plus a Bonus Number to win the top prize. When someone wins the jackpot, it resets to $250,000 and then increases with each drawing if not claimed. If multiple tickets win the jackpot in one draw, the prize is split evenly among winners.
Tickets cost $2 per play and are available until 8:59 p.m. on draw nights at licensed retailers or through retailer apps associated with Play on the Go partners. More information about these options can be found on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.
Since its start in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has sold over $8 billion in tickets and contributed more than $1.5 billion for scholarships benefiting students across Arkansas. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using lottery funds. In addition to player prizes totaling more than $5.5 billion, retailer commissions have exceeded $459 million, while state and federal tax revenue contributions stand at over $188 million.
Players must be at least 18 years old to participate in lottery games in Arkansas. The Office of the Arkansas Lottery notes that all winning numbers posted online are unofficial until verified by their central gaming system and Executive Director.
