The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has announced that the LOTTO jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing has reached $640,000. The game, which began in 2022, has produced four jackpot winners so far and offers additional prizes to players who match three or more numbers, with or without the Bonus Number. Since its launch, over $12 million has been paid out to 1,076 LOTTO players who claimed prizes of more than $500.
LOTTO drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 8:59 p.m. on draw nights. Each play costs $2.
Meanwhile, the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ), another lottery game exclusive to Arkansas, now stands at $440,000 for tonight’s drawing. The NSJ introduced a new format in April 2024 aimed at providing higher and faster-growing prizes. Several jackpots have been won since then, including a $550,000 prize claimed by a Hackett resident in November.
NSJ drawings are held daily at 8 p.m., and tickets are priced at $1 per play.
Tickets for both games can be purchased from licensed Arkansas lottery retailers or through retailer apps offered by ASL’s Play on the Go partners. More information about these options is available on the Where To Play page of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.
Players must be at least 18 years old to buy lottery products.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery reports that since its inception in 2009 it has sold over $8 billion in tickets and returned more than $1.5 billion for scholarships benefiting students across the state. Over 822,000 college scholarships have been awarded through the program administered by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Additionally, more than $5.6 billion in prizes have been given to players and over $471 million paid out in retailer commissions; state and federal tax revenue generated from the lottery exceeds $190 million.
