Winners from across Arkansas visited the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center after Memorial Day weekend to claim significant prizes. Over 40 lottery players won $2,500 or more in the Cash 4 afternoon drawing on May 24, with at least 20 individuals winning the $5,000 top prize. The winning numbers were all fives, and many tickets were sold at independent retailers throughout the state.
One player bought five $1 tickets and secured a $5,000 top prize on each, totaling $25,000. Another player won $10,000. Overall, Cash 4 winners claimed over $100,000 in prizes on May 27 and 28.
ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong expressed excitement about the influx of winners at the Claim Center. “It’s always exciting to see the Claim Center overflowing with winners,” she said. “Especially for games like Cash 4, where players could spend 50 cents or $1 and still win thousands in prizes.” She also noted pride in offering various ways for Arkansans to play and win.
Cash 4 is a four-digit game exclusive to Arkansas with drawings held six days a week. Players choose four numbers between zero and nine and select a wager amount of either 50 cents or $1. They can also pick one of four play types: straight, box, straight/box, or combo. The top prize is $5,000.
Tickets are available through licensed retailers or online via ASL’s app. More information about playing can be found on MyArkansasLottery.com.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has contributed significantly to education since its inception in 2009 by selling over $7.9 billion in tickets and returning more than $1.4 billion for scholarships benefiting Arkansas students.
