Two Arkansas lottery players have recently claimed significant winnings in the same instant game. Greg Jones, residing in Plumerville, secured a $50,000 prize after playing the $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 scratch-off game. He collected his winnings from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on April 28. The ticket, which turned out to be a winner, was purchased at Tobacco Corner Plus North in Morrilton.
While on errands, Greg decided to buy a $50,000 Frenzy scratch-off ticket. He had previously won two $500 prizes with the game and was eager to try his luck again. “Frenzy’s been good to me,” Greg shared with lottery officials. He discovered his win after scratching the ticket in the parking lot of the retailer. His initial disbelief led him to confirm his win via a FaceTime call with his wife. “Is this what I think it is?” he asked her. She responded, “That can’t be real!” Greg plans to use his prize money for a vacation.
In Columbia County, C. Jones also won $50,000 with the same $50,000 Frenzy instant game. He purchased his winning ticket from Discount Tobacco #3 in El Dorado and claimed his prize on April 28. Although he rarely plays lottery games and typically opts for lower-priced tickets, the $20 ticket attracted him. “The $20 ticket was just calling my name,” he remarked to lottery officials. With his winnings, Jones intends to save the amount and has shared the news with his close family.
The $50,000 Frenzy game still has fifty top prizes available. More information about the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, its games, and how to play is available at MyArkansasLottery.com.
