The Arkansas Razorbacks women’s gymnastics team placed seventh overall at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships on April 17, with a team score of 196.9625. The event marked the end of the season for the No. 9 ranked Gymbacks.

Arkansas’s performance was significant as their score was the second highest in program history at an NCAA championship and their best since 2009. The team’s showing included a record-setting floor routine and multiple individual achievements.

In their semifinal session, Arkansas finished behind Oklahoma, Minnesota, and UCLA. Oklahoma and Minnesota advanced to Saturday’s national championship round. Florida and LSU advanced from the afternoon session, while Georgia and Stanford rounded out the top eight teams.

Senior Morgan Price delivered a standout all-around performance with a total score of 39.4625, earning her Second Team All-America honors in addition to recognition on vault and bars—bringing her All-America total to three for this championship. Fifth-year athlete Leah Smith also concluded her Arkansas career with two scores of 9.900 on vault and bars, securing additional All-America nods.

Freshman Allison Cucci achieved Arkansas’ highest individual score of the day with a 9.9375 on vault—good for First Team All-America honors—and sophomore Joscelyn Roberson earned her first All-American honor on floor with a score of 9.9125.

The competition saw strong performances across all events for Arkansas: notable scores were posted by Smith (vault), Lauren Williams (floor), Cucci (vault), Price (bars), Park (beam), Klein (multiple events), Weaver (vault/beam), Campbell (bars), and others throughout each rotation.
