No. 24 Arkansas lost to Missouri, 6-1, in the series finale on April 25, ending a nine-game winning streak against the Tigers at Taylor Stadium.

The defeat prevented Arkansas from sweeping Missouri but did not stop them from securing their fourth consecutive series win in Columbia and sixth straight overall against the Tigers. The Razorbacks now hold a record of 29-16 overall and 11-10 in Southeastern Conference play.

Missouri took an early lead by scoring five runs off Arkansas starter Colin Fisher within the first two innings. Fisher allowed four hits and one walk during his short time on the mound before being replaced. The Tigers scored three runs in the first inning and added two more in the second.

Relief pitchers Gabe Gaeckle, Parker Coil, and Cooper Dossett combined for nine strikeouts over the remaining innings while allowing only one additional run. Despite this strong bullpen performance, Arkansas struggled offensively, leaving six runners stranded and managing just two hits out of fourteen opportunities with runners on base.

Zack Stewart drove in Arkansas’s only run with an RBI fielder’s choice in the ninth inning. This avoided what would have been their first road shutout by a Southeastern Conference opponent since May 16, 2024.

Looking ahead, Arkansas will host Northwestern State for a double midweek series at Baum-Walker Stadium from April 28-29 to finish out the month.
