Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) has introduced new legislation aimed at increasing penalties for migrants convicted of fraud.
Of the $12.7 billion in taxes collected by Arkansas in 2024, 0.6%, or $80 million, came from alcoholic beverages sales taxes, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
