Arkansas Department of Transportation to host meeting on proposed highway intersection improvements

The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced on March 26 that it will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the intersection of Highway 82, Highway 425, and Highway 52 east of Crossett in Ashley County.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, located at 203 East Parker Street in Hamburg. The department said the purpose of the meeting is to gather input from the public regarding the planned project.

Materials related to the meeting will be made available, and comments can be submitted until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14. Individuals may submit online comment forms or print and mail them to the Environmental Division at P.O. Box 2261, Little Rock, AR 72203-2261. Those without internet access are encouraged to contact Matt Strawn at (501) 569-2281 or matt.strawn@ardot.gov with questions about the proposed project.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said that it complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statutes and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.
