Three new members have been inducted into the Arkansas 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony recognizing both leadership achievements and community service among young people statewide. Fifty-five additional youths received Teen Star honors at this year’s conference.
Three staff members from the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture were recognized by this year’s Arkansas Press Women contest among more than 300 entries statewide. First-place winners will move on to compete nationally later this year.
The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum plans a special day camp for teens on June 19 in Piggott, celebrating America’s semiquincentennial with art activities and museum tours. Registration includes supplies, meals, and opportunities for creative expression.
